Telugu Serial Actress Neeraja Biography

Neeraja is a serial character artist who works predominantly in Telugu Serials. Her full name is Neeraja Gurukula. She was born in Machilipatnam as Bandar, She did her schooling till 8th standard at Machilipatnam and she later shifted to then Andhra Pradesh's capital Hyderabad. She entered into Telugu film industry in the year 1999 through the serial Thulasi Dalam. Before entering the film industry she has also worked as a model and also acted in television advertisements and then she worked in corporate offices as well. She started acting on a trial basis, thinking if she succeeds she would stay and if not she would have left long back.

She also used to take interviews in Doordarshan and her makeup chief Nataraj Bhatt, He described the role and then she got her first opportunity through Tulasi Dalam. Along with tulsi Dalam, she acted in Sangarshana serial which got telecasted later. She has done more than 25 serials. She gained immense popularity through the 25 serials. She hasn't acted in many movies because she couldn't get appropriate roles and important roles in the movies. She personally chose to act in those 25 serials. She says she should be conveniently and convincingly play all the roles including comedy, negative, the main lead in the serials.

She still thinks she has many more roles to act to prove her caliber in the industry. She acted in padmavyuham, Sundarakanda. She got married in 2009. Her family comprised of four sisters. She is also acting is shikaram, She is a graduate student completed her graduation at St.Anns Mehidipatnam, Hyderabad. She has also completed a diploma in computers and also diploma in beauty therapy. Her Husband Naveen used to direct Telugu television serials and now he has moved into the direction department in Telugu Film Industry. Her marriage is a love marriage. She dubs for her own roles in the serials. Till today for all the serials she has said dubbing for herself. Jyothi, Gundamma Katha, Prem Nagar.
