Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said on Tuesday (19 th May 2015) that his government is keen on making Hyderabad a clean and world class city. KCR has visited different localities in Secunderabad as part of 'Swachh Hyderabad' campaign, said the city is now dotted with concrete structures without greenery. High Court dismiss petition on shifting Chest Hospital: High Court has dismissed the petition filed by BJP leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy and two others challenging the Telangana government’s decision to shift the Chest and Mental Care Hospitals from Erragadda to Vikarabad for constructing a building for Secretariat in that place. The court stated that it can’t intervene in the matter that has no constitutional obligations. It made it clear that the state government has all rights to take such decisions. The court opines that shifting of such hospitals from the highly populated areas to a peaceful locality outside the city should be welcomed. The court also took up another petition for hearing filed by a person named Prabhakar, who complains that some heritage buildings located in the hospital premises at Erragadda also will be demolished for constructing the new Secretariat building. It is known that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasehar Rao has decided to built New Secretariat replacing Chest Hospital in Erragadda citing dangerous vastu defects for present Secretariat as the reason. He also announced contruction of Integrated Secretariat will be completed within 1 year and this project costs Rs 150 crore. In a major setback to KCR's plan, Vastu Experts have made it clear that location of Chest Hospital doesn't have proper vastu at all. They questioned, "If a location with 2 'veedhi potlu' isn't suitable for present Secretariat, How could a location with 15 'veedhi potlu' be preferred for the New Secretariat?
