Neeraja is a serial character artist who works predominantly in Telugu Serials. Her full name is Neeraja Gurukula. She was born in Machilipatnam as Bandar, She did her schooling till 8th standard at Machilipatnam and she later shifted to then Andhra Pradesh's capital Hyderabad. She entered into Telugu film industry in the year 1999 through the serial Thulasi Dalam. Before entering the film industry she has also worked as a model and also acted in television advertisements and then she worked in corporate offices as well. She started acting on a trial basis, thinking if she succeeds she would stay and if not she would have left long back. She also used to take interviews in Doordarshan and her makeup chief Nataraj Bhatt, He described the role and then she got her first opportunity through Tulasi Dalam.
