Virender Sehwag Performs Surgical Strike In His Own Way After Team India Won Asian Champions Trophy Against Pakistan

The Indian Hockey team has given a wonderful Diwali gift to the whole nation by winning the Asian Champions Trophy for the second time at Kuantan in Malaysia.


The men in blue have beaten their arch-rivals Pakistan 3-2 in the finals. Rupinder Pal Singh, Yousuf Affan, and Nikkin Thimmaiah found the back of the net for India. And for Pakistan, Muhammad Aleem Bilal, and Ali Shan were the scorers.

Until the first half, India was leading Pakistan by 2-1. But in the second half, Pakistan’s Ali Shan cracked the equalizer in the 38th minute which made India’s winning hope go down.


As the match seemed to be heading into a penalty Shootout, India’s Nikkin Thimmaiah scored the third and the winning goal in the 51st minute. However, team India won the match and lifted the Asian Champions Trophy.


Former Indian Cricketer Virender Sehwag soon took to Twitter to share and celebrate the winning moment with his fans and India.
