Her father and mother are Volleyball players. Her Father said that there should be guts to chose sports as a career. Sindhu showed her interest on Badminton at the age of 8. Sindhu and her father shared many things in this interview.

PV Sindhu said that she is not proud to get a couple of awards and added that she wants to achieve more and get a number of awards. As she said she achieved her goal by winning a medal in Rio Olympics 2016.
