TSRTC Speeding Bus Falls into Godavari River Near Bhadrachalam Killing Two Persons
Holy place of Telangana state Bhadrachalam turns out to be place of grief with an unprecedented incident. Telangana State Road Transport Corporation bus plunged into the Godavari river killing two persons instantaneously and injuring many people. RTC bus accident has left the near and dear relatives of the passengers in a stress and broken heartedness. Police, paramedics and other rescue teams have reached the spot and carrying the all the possible to measures to help the injured.
Telangana RTC Bus Falls into Godavari River at Bhadrachalam
A fast moving Telangana bus fells into the river of Godavari river killing two people instantaneously and injuring many of the passengers travelling the bus. Official sources claim around 46 people were travelling in the Telangana RTC bus which fell into the Godavari river near Bhadrachalam on Thursday morning. Rescue teams and the police have reached the accident incident where around 30 persons were injured and a few with severe injuries. Few patients condition is believed to be traumatic and severe state. Some of the injured passengers report of fractures and broken ribs, joints due to the massive accident.
Telangana RTC bus which fell into the river was on its way to Bhadrachalam from Khammam. RTC bus driver lost control over the bus before it was about to climb the bridge on the river. Bus carrying off to the steep driver lost the control and the bus plunged into the river. A woman and Man are reported to be dead during the massive accident. Nearby local people who witnessed and the accident were in the initial one to rescue to the passengers and the shifted the injured passenger to the Bhadrachalam area hospital.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao ordered Roads and Buildings Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao and P. Mahender Reddy to rush to the accident spot and supervise the situation. Telangana State Road Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy ordered an enquiry into the accident and asked the concerned officials to provide the injured passengers with immediate medical aid. This accident came into light after a Telugu journalist tweeted the incident firstly on Twitter. Locals and the officials claim that this not the first time such an incident has occurred in Godavari. In the year 2012 a school bus fell into the river canal near East Godavari district which was travelling with 45 students onboard.
