Airtel & Telangana Govt tie-up to Launch Free WIFI in Hyderabad

Today IT Minister KTR declared that free WIFI services will be available to public at large at Tank Bund and near by areas. In and around Hussain Sagar Wifi services project is being arranged. Tomorrow evening Wifi Services are being started from Marriott Hotel Hyderabad.

Through Free Wifi State IT Minister KTR is going to talk to Central IT Minister Ravishankar Prasad.

Arrangements are being done in the nearby areas like Tank bund, lumbini Park, Necklace Road etc. Approximately 1800-2500 People can login and use Wifi at a time.The person who logins can use free Wifi for 30 minutes. The net speed will be approximately 2mbps to 20mbps

Free Public Wi-Fi in Hyderabad:


It has bee stated by the ministry that IT minister would be talking to Central IT Minister Ravishankar Prasad initially after launching the Free Wi-Fi services. Nearby localities and areas like Tank bund, Lumbini Park, Necklace Road etc., will be able to be the beneficiaries of the free Wi-Fi services. Technical sources claim that approximately 1800-2500 people can login and use Wifi at a time. Evey logged in user would be able to use free Wifi for 30 minutes and at the same time net speed will be approximately 2mbps to 20mbps faster. While people of Hyderabad living in other localities and areas are eagerly waiting for free W-Fi services across made available across the capital city of Telangana as soon as possible.
