Thrissur Police Arrests Young BJP Leader For Printing Fake Currency Notes
Various forms of bringing in the fake currency have stormed the public markets. Soon after the historical decision on demonetization, a number of people’s hands were under shackles due the illegal activities in fake currency notes production and circulation. Now, a similar incident took place in Kerala’s Thrissur, the concerned police authorities arrested Rakesh, a BJP youth wing worker, in connection with fake currency printing on Thursday. Reportedly, a fake currency worth ₹1.37 lakh and printing machines were seized from his house at Anchamparuthy, near Mathilakam. A case was also registered against his brother Rajeev, a Dalit Morcha leader, Rakesh was produced at Kodungallur Magistrate Court on Friday. Meanwhile, the police are searching for Rajeev.
